Complete these steps for
Windows XP
(w/SP2+)
or
Windows Vista
(all versions) |

STEP
1 -
REBUILD LAYERED
SERVICE PROVIDER (LSP) CHAINS |
|
At a
command prompt enter NETSH WINSOCK
RESET CATALOG
DO NOT REBOOT NOW
-
Continue to STEP
2 |
|
STEP 2 -
RESET TCP/IP PROTOCOL REGISTRY KEYS |
|
At a
command prompt enter
NETSH INT IP RESET LOG.LOG
REBOOT REQUIRED !
- Winsock & TCP/IP will be healthy
after reboot. |

Once you have completed these 2 steps, your Winsock will be back to
original settings. |
